Ordering Process

Start by clicking on the shopping cart icon

This will show at the upper right of the website pages AFTER you have added a product.

Here you can view and check all the items and quantities you’re about to order. To remove a product, click the X at its right. You can also increase or decrease an item’s quantities you wish to order.

Even after you click on the CHECKOUT BUTTON, you can leave the ordering process at any time, and can get back to editing your shopping cart.

Your shopping cart will remain available if you close the website and return later. I will not chase you down to remind you that it’s here, (since I don’t like it when online retailers to that to me!).

Starting from the checkout button:

1. Enter your email and choose whether or not to subscribe to the mailing list. (If you’re already subscribed, you won’t receive duplicate emails.) → Click Continue

2. Choose Shipping Method and Enter shipping address → Click Continue

3. Review Shipping to New Customers if this applies → Scroll down to enter optional comments about your order (for example, a custom choice of air cap size), any special shipping instructions, and (we hope!) how you found this website → Click Continue

4. Enter Billing Address and Choose Payment Option: Credit or Debit Card, AfterPay, or PayPal (for PayPal, PayPal Pay in 4, or PayPay Credit).

The three extended payment options have different pros and cons. To learn more about these payment options, see the Payments article.

If you choose PayPal, click the yellow PayPal button → Log into your PayPal account or set one up → Then choose either Use your PayPal Wallet or click on Buy now, pay later. See offers.

If you click on See Offers, you can choose Pay In 4 (no-interest amounts of 25% of order total) if your order total does not exceed $1500, or use PayPal Credit which spreads your order total over 6 months without interest.

If you decide you don’t want to use PayPal, scroll to the bottom of the PayPal options screen and click on “Cancel and Return to Phelps Refinishing” where you can choose a different payment option.

If you choose AfterPay, click on the Continue withAfterPay button, where you can enter your email or phone number, and proceed to either log in to your AfterPay account, or continue to enter information to set up your account.

(We didn’t go far enough into setting up an AfterPay account to see exactly when you can cancel and return to the checkout process to choose another payment option.)

5. Last step is to review your order and place it.

After you place your order:

You will then receive an email receipt, followed by another email as soon as the shipping process is initiated. If your order comes in more than one shipment, you may get separate emails with different tracking numbers.
