Stripped and Stained Kitchens
When the color of the kitchen cabinets are
to be changed to a new stained color the doors and drawers are stripped,
sanded, stained, and finished in the shop and the frames are stripped,
sanded, stained, and finished in the home.

The above kitchen is a maple kitchen that was
originally stained very dark and was suffering from wear and tear. I completely
stripped it and stained it to a medium color that the customer chose.

This was originally a dark brown birch kitchen
that was stripped and stained with a white stain to obtain this color,
with a more concentrated white stain and a white toner a white wash effect
can also be obtained.

This is a birch kitchen that was stained in a whiter stain to give more of a whitewash effect than the one above.

finished in a natural oak, I stripped and refinished it with an avocodo
stain.
